Description

THE FARM
La Pastora farm is located at an altitude of over 1300m in the San Marcos Tarrazu area, which is particularly popular for its terroir, the volcanic soil. This soil has an average temperature of 21oC and humidity levels of 75%. Harvesting is done exclusively by the workers themselves, by hand, who are highly trained in selecting the ripest cherries ready to move on to the next stage.
La Pastora is made up of CoopeTarrazú, a cooperative that has 53 years of experience and consists of more than 3000 members. The coffees produced on the farm are among the highest quality coffees of the organization and reflect its 50 years of experience and history.
